Hey guys, Cyan here, and I wanted to address this here before it gets swamped and overcrowded here in the PM community, with all the fans racking up on it! But anyways, Project M or Project Melee, was a hack for the 3rd game in the Super Smash Brothers series, Super Smash Brothers Brawl™ and was very popular for it's extreme competitive vibe. Project M changed what characters "sucked" or were "Too OP" and made it so that there was a competitive rout for any character anyone wanted to be. It was all well and great until, the day it closed down. In 2014, Project M's developers were taking a mass load of backlash from the Nintendo Company, and were eventually forced to close the mod forever. Major Smash Brothers™ Tournament places like Apex and CEO, officially closed the playing of Project M and the developers have since ceased development of Project Melee for good. Sadly, this sad news caused some major smash players to take a retire from playing Smash Brothers™ altogether. What do you guys think was the problem? Please tell me!
